DESCRIPTION
Photograph of Clarke's Block in Keene New Hampshire. This block is located on the corners of Washington Street and Central Square. This photo shows F.L. Pond's watches and clocks store, Frank G. Dort & Co., H.E. Fay Jewelers, and Wardwell & Co. Wallpaper.
In 1880 there was a disastrous fire on this block and the new brick building was built, with Liberty Hall occupying the third floor.
